Murcia-San Javier Airport Parking & Transport

Public Parking – The public car park at Murcia-San Javier Airport is just opposite the terminal doors. Parking rates are very reasonable compared to most UK airports. When entering the airport visitors need to take a ticket at the boom gates. This can then be paid for at the machine opposite the terminal doors when you leave. Next to the boom gates is a separate entrance for those that are just dropping off or picking up passengers that doesn't require a parking ticket.

Car Hire – The car hire companies that service the airport are Europcar, Goldcar and Firefly. They each have representatives within the airport terminal. It is possible to hire a car upon arrival without pre-booking. This however is not advisable during peak summer season. Booking your car hire is also advisable when a specific type is required such as a people carrier or vehicle with automatic transmission. Several independent car hire companies will also drop off and pick up vehicles from the airport. Orihuela Insider always recommend the services of Coys Rent-A-Car.

Taxis – Santiago de la Ribera Taxis are the official taxi firm used by the airport. Taxi prices include an airport supplement and smaller supplement for items of luggage. Prices are 30% higher on Sundays and public holidays. Passengers are welcome to use whichever taxi firm they choose, including ‘moonlighters' but do so at their own risk. All official taxis are monitored.

Buses – Unfortunately there are no bus services whatsoever from Murcia-San Javier Airport.
